About Poonam
Poonam’s interest in nutrition started in college when she did her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. After running a successful food business, she pursued her passion for nutrition and health and studied further to understand nutrition, exercise, physiology and human anatomy.
Poonam believes that we can stay in shape at any age. At age 50, after struggling through many changes during menopause, she worked on her physical and mental fitness and is now at her personal best.
To stay in shape Poonam runs, cycles, does yoga and strength training. She is an enthusiastic traveller and an avid reader. In addition to literary fiction, she enjoys books on the psychology and self-improvement by authors like Rhonda Byrne, Louise Hay, Tony Robbins, Candice B. Pert and James Clear.
She loves to cook and is always whipping up innovative and healthy recipes to test out on her sons and daughters-in-law. Currently she is working on writing a book on healthy recipes.
